Woman seriously injured after collision in Gresham

GRESHAM Ore. (KPTV) – A woman was injured after being struck by a car in Gresham on Saturday evening, according to Gresham police.

Just before 11 p.m., police responded to the crash near Southeast Division Street and 185th Avenue.

Paramedics gave the woman first aid before she was rushed to hospital.

The two men injured in Thursday’s shooting at the Vancouver Mall are at home and recovering from their injuries on Sunday.

Police said she was seriously injured but is expected to recover.

Police said the driver was cited for not having a valid driver’s license, but officers said they believed the woman’s intoxication, dark clothing and her “actions in the roadway” were the primary causes of the crash.
