Influencer Liz Teo announces pregnancy, ex-husband Maxi Lim congratulates her

SINGAPORE – Local influencer Liz Teo announced her pregnancy on Nov 1, while her former husband, local actor Maxi Lim, congratulated her.

Lim, 37, and Teo, who is in his 20s, announced on January 9 that they had gone their separate ways. The former couple, who tied the knot in March 2020, have a four-year-old son, Reign.

“We ended on very good terms,” she wrote at the time. “Please don’t feel bad or sad for us. We are not compatible as partners and we really wish each other all the best, not forgetting of course little Reigny, whom many of you love.

On November 1, Teo posted two photos on Instagram of himself with a belly and a man whose face was not visible.

“This year has brought so much growth, and I’m excited (and a little nervous) to share what I expect,” she wrote. “This new chapter means a lot to me, and I am so grateful for everyone who has been a part of my journey.”

Lim, best known for his role as Aloysius Jin in local director Jack Neo’s military-themed Ah Boys To Men films (2012 to 2017), captioned her post, “Congratulations.”

Teo posted a video of her gender reveal party on Instagram on November 3, revealing the word “twins.” Her partner’s name, Alston, can be seen in the video.
