Her mother, Bhavan Pal, stated that her daughter was severely abused by her in-laws over dowry demands. A day before the tragedy, the young woman shared her ordeal with her brother. Police have since launched an investigation, examining the suicide note and interviewing relatives and neighbors to gather more details about the circumstances leading to her death.
