SANTINI CYCLING AND PIRELLI LAUNCH A CAPSULE COLLECTION FOR CYCLISTS INSPIRED BY THE PIRELLI SPORT CLUB

Milan, May 22, 2024. Santini Cyclingleader in cycling clothing, in collaboration with Pirelli designPirelli’s division dedicated to high-quality partnerships, is delighted to announce the launch of a new capsule collection for cyclists.

The entire collection features the new logo of the Sport Club Pirelli, created in 1922 to promote the well-being of employees through physical activity. Cycling, a discipline dear to the club, highlights Pirelli’s long-standing connection with the sport. Notably, the first Pirelli tire, the “Tipo Milano” of 1894, was designed for bicycles. The story of the Pirelli Sport Club is told on a label sewn onto the jerseys in this collection.

The collection consists of two cycling jerseys, shorts available in black and white, a base layer, a vest and a windproof jacket, as well as matching accessories including socks, a cap and a bottle of water. Also available is a t-shirt in a soft fabric blend of 95% cotton and 5% lycra, as well as a crew-neck sweatshirt, both featuring the Santini and Pirelli logos in subtly soft-touch silicone.

Pirelli Sport Club Jerseys

Both versions of the Pirelli SC jerseys, made with Polartec® Power Stretch® fabric, ensure incredible comfort and great breathability. It has a slim cut with raw cut sleeves and an internal silicone grip at the waist to keep the jersey in place while pedaling. The triple rear pocket is reinforced with an extra layer of ultra-lightweight mesh, doubling the cargo space, making these jerseys ideal for long rides and all cycle journeys. Gray reflective details are found on the back of the jerseys. The Pirelli SC unisex jersey is designed using the suggestive shapes of the new Sport Club Pirelli logo, which characterizes the design of this jersey available in four colors. The second jersey has a clean and elegant design, available in two color variants: white with a black stripe around the chest and black with a yellow insert, reminiscent of Pirelli’s yellow. The Pirelli SC and Santini logos are applied as silicone transfers. Respectively certified UPF30+ and UPF50+, the swimsuits offer an important barrier against harmful UV rays.

Pirelli Sport Club Bib Shorts

The Pirelli SC bib shorts are lightweight but high performance. Made from a compact, highly elastic Italian fabric with powerful compression technology, they have a matte finish for a classic, minimal look. Designed in two color variants, total black and total white. The white bib shorts feature a double panel at the back for extra coverage. The seamless elastic bibs on the front adhere to the body and stretch to adapt to all body shapes, while the extremely light and elastic mesh on the back ensures perfect ventilation. An internal non-slip gripper keeps the shorts in place while pedaling.

Equipped with the GITevo chamois with gel core which gradually absorbs shock for unparalleled comfort even during long rides. Reflective details on the thighs ensure high visibility in the dark.

Pirelli Sport Club Underwear

Sleeveless technical base layer designed for ultimate comfort. Stretchy and lightweight, it has an elongated cut to fit perfectly inside the shorts. Perfect to wear under the Pirelli SC jersey.

Pirelli Sport Club windbreaker vest

The Pirelli SC vest is a pocket-sized windproof garment for cycling and outdoors. Extremely lightweight, it folds into its own pocket for easy access in windy or light rain. Made with two-layer windproof fabric on the front for excellent wind protection and lightweight mesh on the back for maximum breathability. Reflective striping on the back pockets to improve safety in low visibility conditions. Available in two color variants: white and black.

Pirelli Sport Club windbreaker jacket
