NEET PG 2024 Counseling Schedule Coming Soon, SC to Hear Result Transparency Case on Friday

Candidates declared qualified or eligible for all India quota postgraduate vacancies will be able to participate in the online allotment process for these vacancies which is conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) under the Ministry of Health and Welfare -Family Living, Government of India.

NEET PG 2024 Counseling Process:

Here is a step-by-step guide to the counseling process:

ONE) Principal Counseling Record: Includes payment of the non-refundable registration fee and the refundable deposit, which will only be refunded to the account where the payment was made.

B) Choice padding and blocking: Candidates will exercise their options and block their preferred choices.

W) Seating Distribution – Round 1: The distribution process for Round 1 will take place.

D) Publication of the results of the first round: The result will be published on the MCC website. Candidates who are offered a place will be required to upload their essential documents on the MCC website.

AND) Physical report: Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 must report to the designated Medical/Dental College with original documents for verification.

AND) Free exit option: Candidates with a place in Round 1 can opt out without penalty and participate directly in Round 2.

G) Willingness to upgrade: Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 can opt for an upgrade to Round 2, but only after physically reporting to the designated college/institute.

H) Non-Allocation in Round 1: If a candidate fails to get a place in Round 1, he/she can participate in Round 2 without registering again.

I) Update process: Candidates opting to upgrade from Round 1 to Round 2 must report to the designated institute with original documents, complete the admission formalities and express their desire to upgrade during this process.
