Travis Kelce breaks silence on Harrison Butker controversy

THE Pearl jam The frontman had some choice words, calling Butker a “f—kin’ p—y” during a May 18 concert in Las Vegas.

“These are good men and women who make a great group,” he said, pointing to his fellow musicians on stage. “The singer, Jessica (Dobson), and the keyboardist, Patty (King), they must not have believed that (deepening its voice) “evil lie” that women should be proud to take second place to their man.”

Vedder—father of daughters Olivia And Harper with wife Jill McCormick– waited for the applause to die down, then added that housework “is perhaps one of the most difficult jobs” and one that one “is really proud of.”

But he did not “understand the logic” of telling anyone, men or women, that it would be in their best interest to give up on their dreams.

And Vedder added: “There’s nothing more masculine than a strong man supporting a strong woman and good people don’t shy away from equality.”
