Community partnership announces plans to organize Lebanon Pride 2024

Several community organizations have partnered to produce a Lebanon Pride 2024 event scheduled for June 23. The event is scheduled for Sunday from 1 p.m. to 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on 8th Street between Chestnut and Cumberland Street.

Community organizers announced their plans in a press release, stating that the event is open to all members of the community to come and celebrate in a safe and friendly environment. The partnership says music, dancing and entertainment will be part of the celebration.

Lebanon Pride 2024 will also include several faith-based events beginning Saturday, June 22 at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.

According to the release, the planning committee is seeking sponsors and vendors to assist in the fundraising process for Lebanon Pride 2024. Community members are also encouraged to make donations to help support the event.

Several partners are listed in the release as contributors, including the Great Reading LGBT Center in Lebanon, WellSpan Philhaven, Family Health Services of Lebanon and St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, among others.
