Lyford arcade raid linked to federal money laundering investigation

Several law enforcement officers were seen carrying out a raid on an amusement arcade in Lyford.

Officers were spotted Friday at the Horseshoe Gameroom, located at 9701 Interstate Hwy 69E.

Channel 5 News cameras spotted Homeland Security Investigations, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Texas Department of Public Safety and the IRS Criminal Investigation Division on the places.

On social media, HSI confirmed that it was the lead agency in the investigation.

“HSI is the leading investigative agency in today’s enforcement actions. HSI is assisted by IRS-CID, Texas Department of Public Safety, US Border Patrol, CBP-OFO, and CBP Air & Marine,” the agency said on social media. “No further details are being released at this time; the criminal investigation is still ongoing.
