The Coalition will seek legal advice on Lidia Thorpe’s position in parliament, following revelations that she forged her oath of office and swore allegiance to Queen Elizabeth II’s “hair” rather than her “heirs”.

Amid growing anger over the Victorian independent’s protest against King Charles in parliament this week, the Labor Party and Coalition will discuss a plan to formally sanction her in the House next month.
