The thing about Margot Robbie is that she can pull off just about any look, whether it’s head-to-toe Chanel on the red carpet or ’90s athleisure in movies like “I, Tonya,” and I’ve pretty much accepted that. done at this point.

What I didn’t accept – and what I’m currently struggling to force my brain to calculate – is that Robbie could even make Dries Van Noten’s hot pink satin gloves work. I mean, I have to do some fancy math to try on a new denim waist length, and it just walks on a red carpet, making it a wardrobe staple. This is quite unfair, in my opinion.

Regardless, part of the reason they work is because they play with his Dries Van Noten fluffy top in a really fun way. The whole thing is actually a very deep brown, which brings out the pink without making it appear Also comic book character – because while Robbie may be reprising the role of Harley Quinn, going literal is never the answer. Both the feathers and pink are a nice, memorable nod to the film without going overboard. Likewise, her low-maintenance hair and popsicle-stained lips take the look into more casual territory.
