Is there really any dancing with the stars behind the scenes? What's reportedly going on with Carrie Ann, Derek and Bruno

If Dancing with the stars Season 33 is getting closer to crowning the next recipient of the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy in the middle of the TV program 2024the dance competition series is going to be intense. While some dance routines scored bigwith that of Olympian Ilona Maher Encanto performance is one of them, fans have voiced their opinions on eliminations and scores. Some might suggest this is getting out of hand – so much so that it could cause behind-the-scenes drama with judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Toniloi.

Since last week’s Halloween Nightmares episode, viewers have apparently been highlighting Inaba’s scoring tendencies, especially when it comes to the female contestants. Viewers criticized the old judge for apparently handing out A’s to many contestants, especially the men, and allegedly not giving fair criticism to Ilona Maher and actress Chandler Kinney. It’s worth noting that both ladies technically had the most difficult dances of the night. Kinney also begged Inaba to tell her how she could improve since she wasn’t getting much specific feedback.

As a source for The American sun It is to be believed that the way the host hands out scores backstage is causing problems. The person claimed that the judge reportedly “doesn’t have her place like she used to” on set. They also said the following:

She doesn’t fit in as well as she used to. That’s not to say she’s necessarily doing a bad job, but again, she just doesn’t fit into the show or crew like she once did. It led to many awkward moments on set, some of which were caught on camera.

Of course, these claims have not been substantiated by anyone from the show or ABC representatives. Nevertheless, the insider also claims that Carrie Ann Inaba’s participation on the long-running program could be in jeopardy and that her relationship with her fellow judges has reportedly changed:

(Her) time seems to be up. I think it’s only a matter of time before the show pulls the trigger and brings in someone that audiences are excited about. Bruno and Derek love Carrie Ann, but they aren’t on the same page as her all season. It was frustrating for them to try to play off her unpredictable behavior.

Carrie Ann Inaba has been a judge since 2005 and is known for providing very honest feedback, and in several cases it focused on elevators. More recently, fans haven’t minced words when it comes to her judging routines. After the Halloween episode, social media user really loved youfor example, shared a blunt assessment.

Again, we will have to take these comments on board about Inaba’s supposed future Dancing with the stars with a huge grain of salt. Aside from that, former pro Mark Ballas’ name is reportedly one that is “the most tossed around” when it comes to a theoretical successor to her. Ballas, who won season 31 with Charli D’Ameliowas a guest judge for Dedication Night and some have suggested him as a permanent host, including afterglowpjo from X.

That aside, DWTS won’t be happening this week due to the presidential election, but the series will return for the big 500 on November 12^e episode on ABC and can be streamed with a Disney+ subscription.
