Nevada State Police identify a Las Vegas man in fatal L-11 motorcycle crash

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Nevada State Police identified 37-year-old Christopher Garrett Kaiser as the victim of a fatal crash Friday morning.

State police responded to the crash near Sunset Road shortly before 4 a.m at the l-11 exit in henderson.

NSP reported that Kaiser was riding a black 2012 Harley Davidson Street Glide motorcycle. He was driving east on Sunset Road in the left lane while attempting to enter the northbound exit at a red light. A white 2014 Volkswagen GTI Hatchback also turned left onto the westbound off-ramp.

The vehicle allegedly drove in the direction of the motorcycle. The driver tried to swerve, but was unable to do so. Kaiser collided with the vehicle, causing him to be thrown.

Police said Kaiser died at the scene.

NSP says it has investigated 63 fatal crashes that have killed 71 people so far in 2024.

The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
