Man arrested for soliciting a teen he met at Spring Hill Metro Station in Tysons for sex

Fairfax County Police (FCPD) have arrested a Maryland man for soliciting sex from a minor at the Spring Hill Metro station in Tysons.

Police began their investigation on November 1, when the parents of a 15-year-old came forward and told them their child had been asked for sex in October.

Logan Russell Farrell approached a 15-year-old at the Spring Hill Metro Station in Tysons and offered money for sex, the FCPD said.

After this first encounter, Farrell, 38, continued to request sexual acts and illegal photos of the victim.

Farrell has been charged with trafficking in minors, production of child pornography and four counts of soliciting a minor.

Farrell often visited the Spring Hill subway station, investigators believe.
