Kane says he’s considering his post-mayor options

Glenn “Kane” Jacobs says he’s considering his next options when his final term as Knox County mayor is over. The WWE star and politician has served as mayor of the Tennessee city since 2018, but his term is limited, and he sat down with the Washington Examiner’s Jack Hunter for a new interview in which he was asked about a possible candidacy for governor.

“Yes,” he replied. I have two years left in office and my term is limited, so I’m exploring my options, including whether I’ll stay in politics.

Jacobs’ last WWE appearance was at SummerSlam 2022, where he announced viewership numbers for the Nashville PPV.
