Anna Maria boil water warning

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – Manatee County has established a precautionary boil water advisory for the north end of Anna Maria Island.

All water used for cooking or consumption should be boiled as a precaution.

The water must boil for at least one minute.

Bottled water can also be used.

This precautionary notice will remain in effect until bacteriological research demonstrates that the water is safe, typically 24 to 48 hours.

A Notice of Termination will be issued when raised.
