Dead mouse found in ‘dirty’ Oxford hotel room

Ms Rogers said: “The hotel was dirty. Dust covered every surface and the bed linen was visibly dirty.”

She said she was “bitten by fleas within minutes of entering the room.”

She added: “The mold, dirt, dust, broken glass and dead mice only confirm the extent of the health risks… the stench was terrible.”

After checking in around 6:00 p.m. BST on May 28, the couple said they finally decided to leave shortly after midnight, “unable to endure these conditions any longer.”

“We ended up sleeping in our car at a nearby park and ride, which was far from the comfortable stay we had planned,” she said.

Ms Rogers concluded that the hotel “failed on every level”.
