Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin to undergo major casting change as show takes a leap forward, Shakti Arora says ‘I was surprised and shocked’

Shakti Arora, one of the most talented actors in the television industry, recently shared her thoughts on the upcoming leap in the series Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. In a conversation with a news portal, Shakti shared her first reaction to the news of the jump, expressing surprise. He said, “Honestly, I was surprised and shocked. 2.0 ki TRP pe leap koi kyu lega? (Why are they going to take a leap with 2.0 TRP?) 2.0 TRP is completely fine and respectable at this point. Every show has suffered because of the IPL, but we have always been consistent.

Shakti further explained that the entire cast was disturbed by the news of the jump. He said: “This has always happened to me. I was surprisingly informed about the closure and the progress of my show. However, I have been in the industry for a while now and can understand the decisions made by officials. When I received calls from the media about jumps, I had a hunch that this was going to happen and so I was prepared. When it was announced, everyone was disturbed. Bhosale was going to come out, so everyone was a little depressed believing that this is life.”

The show recently saw the entry of Karanvir Bohra. Despite the big change in the cast of the show, some members like Bhavika Sharma, Manasi Salvi and Indraneel Bhattacharya are said to be retained. Recently, Bombay Times reported that Hitesh Bharadwaj has been cast as the lead character in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin post-leap.
