Lineman allegedly shocked while working in Rusk, sheriff says

RUSK, Texas (KETK) – A lineman working near Rusk reportedly suffered an electrical shock injury Monday and is transported to a local hospital, the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office said.

Cherokee County Sheriff Brent Dickson said the lineman’s condition was unknown and he was currently being airlifted for treatment. Exactly where he worked or who he worked for has not been reported at this time.

Dickson said emergency medical services and local firefighters responded to the scene.
