255 students detained for using unfair means during HSC-2024 annual exams

LARKANA – On the fourth day of the Annual Examinations-2024 of Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) Part I and II, under the supervision of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Larkana, the vigilance teams of the Board captured Monday 95 red students surrendered using unfair means during exams. BISE Larkana Chairman Sikandar Ali Mirjat has formed vigilance teams to check the use of unfair means. The 30 vigilance teams carried out surprise raids at various examination centers in Larkana, Kamber-Shahdadkot, Shikarpur, Kandhkot-Kashmore, Jacobabad and two talukas of Dadu district, including Khairpur Nathan Shah and Mehar, and detained 95 students using unfair means in the field of chemistry. I of class XI and XII papers of Pakistan Studies Annual Examinations-2024. Besides, the vigilance teams also arrested 162 impersonators sitting in exam centers to solve the papers of real students.

Meanwhile, BISE Chairman and Controller of Examinations, Fakhuruddin Ahmed Babar Abro visited various examination centers of Larkana town, Ratodero, Naudero, Bunguldero of Larkana and Shikarpur districts and reviewed the examination process of the annual examinations-2024 of the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC) Parts I and II (Classes XI and XII). While visiting different blocks of exam centers, Chairman BISE Larkana detained 25 students while using unfair means during the exam process, their books, mobile devices and answer copies were handed over to the concerned authorities for subsequent disciplinary action.
