Festival announces change in ticketing system

Prior to ticket sales for next year Glastonbury Festivalthe Somerset event has announced that it will shake up the ticketing process by introducing a queue.

In an update on their website on November 5, the festival revealed: “The booking process itself for 2025 will be the same as in previous years, but the way you participate in the booking process will change.”

For this reason, it’s crucial that hopeful attendees are logged into the necessary page before tickets go on sale, with the festival saying: “Anyone who logs in once sales have started will be automatically added to the back of the queue, so it is important to make sure you are ready online at least a few minutes before the sale starts.”

Once in line, potential ticket buyers are greeted by a progress bar informing them of how long they have to wait.

Importantly, Glastonbury Festival has also instructed those hoping to get tickets to move away from the usual methods of accessing the event, saying: “Please do not refresh this page or use multiple devices or tabs or you will lose you may find your place in the queue. .”

When do Glastonbury tickets go on sale?

Last month, Glastonbury confirmed there are tickets available for 2025 will initially go on sale on Thursday, November 14 at 6:00 PM GMT for bus and ticket packages, and then standard tickets will be available on Sunday, November 17 at 9:00 AM GMT.
