Florida considers Election Day a holiday, according to Florida its state statutes. However, most government facilities are still open and residents don’t get any mandatory time down to vote.

According to the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Servicesstate offices are open and operating during normal hours.

Are Florida schools open on Election Day?

All public schoolscolleges and universities in Florida are open during regular hours.

Are Florida banks open on Election Day?

Branches of Bank of America, Truist, PNC, Capital One, Wells Fargo and other banks will be open for normal business hours on Tuesday, November 5.

Other banking services, such as ATMs and online banking, should also be available on election day.

Is the post office open on election day? Is mail delivered in Florida?

Yes, post offices will be open and mail will be delivered on Tuesday, as Election Day is not a federal holiday.

Are shipping services, such as UPS and FedEx, open in Florida on Election Day?

Yes, UPS and FedEx pickup and delivery services are available on Election Day and their stores are open.
