65-year-old dies in accident at home

Tragedy this afternoon in Vallata, where a 65-year-old man died during work on his own home. For reasons yet to be determined, the man fell from external scaffolding, from a height of approximately six metres. Despite the quick intervention of rescue teams, nothing more could be done for him: the serious injuries he sustained in the fall proved fatal. Medical personnel from the Emergency Service 118 and the Carabinieri of the Ariano Irpino Company were on the scene. By order of the judiciary, the body has been entrusted to the family.
