A man wanted in connection with a violent stabbing incident in Williams Lake could be in Merritt or Kamloops, police say.

According to Mounties, Sem Weiss, 23, is wanted in connection with a home invasion and stabbing out of Williams Lake, and on a CBSA deportation warrant.

Investigators believe he may be in the Merritt area.

“Sem Weiss should be considered dangerous and you should not approach or attempt to arrest him under any circumstances,” RCMP Commander Madonna Saunderson said in a news release.
