Black River Audubon Society unveils details for annual meeting and dinner – Morning Journal

The Black River Audubon Society’s annual meeting and dinner will be held on December 3 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Henry’s Barn, 46223 US 20 in Oberlin.

Tickets to attend cost €20 and can be purchased by registering online at blackriveraudubon.org.

The evening will include a catered dinner and a special presentation on Saw-whet Owls by research expert Tom Bartlett, according to a news release. The organization will also recognize volunteers and present the Jack Smith Conservation Award.

There will also be an annual report assessing performance over the past few years and looking forward to future conservation efforts.

Activities for the evening include: raffles; silent auction; 50-50 lottery; Spin and win; holiday shopping; and Bird Trivia. All of these activities help support the work of the Audubon Society, the release said.
