Sabrina Carpenter had more voters than any other artist before the 2024 election

Sabrina Carpenter asked her fans to do just that please, please, please do their civic duty.

The pop sensation attracted more than 260,000 voters and registered more than 35,000 new voters ahead of the elections. 2024 presidential electionper a report from Variety on Tuesday.

The “Espresso” singer with success worked with the nonpartisan organization HeadCount to break the record for voter engagement that Ariana Grande set in 2019 during her “Sweetener” world tour.

Carpenter, 25, engaged fans through giveaways, personal activations and video boards during her “Short n’ Sweet” arena tour.

A lottery – which has now ended – included a chance to be flown to the ‘Taste’ singer’s concert in San Francisco on November 9.

To enter, hopefuls had to check their voter registration status, by variety.

Ahead of the “Short n’ Sweet” tour, Carpenter also teamed up with HeadCount to send two fans to see her perform at the 2024 Governors Ball Music Festival in June.

That game alone caused more than 40,000 fans to check their voter registration overnight.

Meanwhile, Green Day’s “Saviors” tour also broke a record by registering more than 7,900 new voters and engaging more than 61,000 voters through in-person activations, the outlet said.

Carpenter continued to use her influence on Election Day Tuesday, using her Instagram Story to encourage fans to vote.

“Please, please, vote today! It’s time to make your voice heard,” read the HeadCount graph she shared.

She later shared Variety’s story about her record-breaking voter engagement, adding, “And if we missed you, it’s not too late to vote today!!.”

Carpenter joins many others celebrities who have been vocal about encouraging their fan bases to vote in this year’s election, as Kamala Harris and Donald Trump battle for the Oval Office.

That list includes Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Chloe Grace Moretz, Elon Musk, Amber Rose, Cardi B, Arnold Schwarzenegger and more.

Global superstar Taylor Swift – who was recently the ‘Good Graces’ singer performed with on the Eras Toursupported the vice president via Instagram in September.
