Two poll workers are among three people killed in Missouri flooding

Three people were killed Tuesday — including two poll workers — in flash flooding in Missouri.

The two poll workers, a man and a woman in their 70s, drowned while trying to swim to safety after their vehicle was washed away. according to Fox again, in which information was cited of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

A third fatality was an adult woman who drove her car into the water, but police are still investigating the woman’s exact cause of death.

Heavy rains lashed the state, breaking November rainfall records, flooding streets and homes and forcing closures across the state.
