Live in Chennai: Southern Railway announces train cancellations and rescheduling due to engineering works, Chennai Central – Arakkonam section, Southern Railway train cancellations, Moore Market Complex EMU trains, Tiruvallur EMU train timetable, rescheduling trains from Chennai, Dhanbad

Due to engineering works scheduled from 00:20 am to 04:15 am on June 12 and 13 in the Chennai Central – Arakkonam section, Southern Railway (SR) has announced the cancellation of two EMU trains between Moore Market Complex and Tiruvallur.

The canceled services are:

• Moore Market Complex – Tiruvallur Local EMU, which was scheduled to depart from Moore Market Complex at 04:30.
• The premises of UEM Tiruvallur – Moore Market Complex are scheduled to leave Tiruvallur at 03:50 on both days.

Additionally, train No. 06066 Dhanbad – Tambaram special, initially scheduled to depart from Dhanbad at 06:00 on June 12, has been rescheduled to depart at 10:00.

From July 1, the Railway Board has decided to return all Southern Railway passenger train numbers to their pre-Covid sequences, starting with 5, 6 or 7. This change will affect 296 trains travelers.
