Raymond Lee, the star of Quantum leapposted a farewell reaction on Instagram today to the news of the show’s cancellation.

NBC today decided not to air the third season of its Quantum leap to restart. The news came more than a month after the two-hour Season 2 finale aired on February 20.

The new version of Quantum jump took place today. It’s been 30 years since Dr. Sam Beckett entered the Quantum Leap accelerator and disappeared. A new team has been assembled to restart the project in hopes of understanding the mysteries behind the machine and the man who created it.
