Ross Library announces several upcoming events | News, sports, jobs

LOCK HAVEN – The Annie Halenbake Ross Library has announced a number of upcoming events, including:

Story time for little explorers (2-5 years)

Welcome to Story Time for Little Explorers, a delightful and engaging program for children ages 2 to 5 on Tuesdays at 2:30 PM in the Gould Room. Join library members for a magical journey full of stories, songs, bubbles and crafts that will spark your child’s imagination and creativity!

The adventure begins with reading two enchanting stories specially chosen for their captivating illustrations and simple, yet captivating storytelling. Perfect for young minds, these stories encourage listening skills and a love of reading.

After the storytelling session, it’s time to get started musically! Program runners introduce a fun and easy-to-learn song that gets everyone singing and moving along. This activity promotes language development and rhythm awareness.

What’s more magical than bubbles? This event brings out the bubble wands and creates a vibrant wonderland. Watching and chasing bubbles helps develop motor skills and hand-eye coordination, all while having fun!

The final activity will be a simple and fun craft project. Little hands get to work with colorful materials and create a masterpiece to take home. This activity promotes creativity, fine motor skills and a sense of achievement.

Come and be part of this Story Time for little explorers! It is a great opportunity for your child to socialize, learn and play in a supportive and joyful environment. The library looks forward to seeing you and your little one for a morning of fun and discovery.
