Reward offered for information on man who allegedly shot and killed man during drug bust at Skyway Pier

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a man wanted for felony murder in Manatee County.

The Gold Star Club of Manatee County is offering $5,000 for information leading to the arrest of Alex Martinez, who investigators say fatally shot Diomicio Primitivo Ibarra-Hernandez, 26, during a drug deal in Sunshine Skyway South Fishing Pier in October. .14, 2022.

Detectives said Martinez arranged to meet the victim to purchase marijuana, but several shots were fired during the transaction and Ibarra-Hernandez was killed.

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office said Martinez is believed to be hiding in Hillsborough County and will remain in Plant City.
