Kim Kardashian’s first husband Damon Thomas called her “irresponsible” for calling their marriage a drug-fueled mistake.

THE keeping up with the Kardashians The star was 19 when she eloped with the music producer who is 10 years her senior. She has since claimed she was high on ecstasy at the time of the wedding.

Thomas, 51, told Vlad TV: “‘I don’t remember it at all. It’s his thing.’

The music producer – who married Kardashian in Las Vegas in 2000 and filed for divorce in 2003 – called the 41-year-old mother of four “unfair” for trying to sweep their marriage under the rug.

Thomas said: “I think it’s unfair to make those kinds of blanket statements because we have kids now. I have kids, my kid goes to the same school as his kid.

“So imagine it when he has to take care of himself at school. I think she should be more responsible with these statements because there is a lot more to say about this topic and these things.

“And I could go on and blow the subject, but I wouldn’t. And I was very responsible in not talking about what this marriage was and what it meant to me. .”

He added: “Because it happened in the past, you can try to sweep it under the rug, but you don’t stay married to someone or with someone for four to five years and that’s just based on you getting high from ecstasy, you know?

“It doesn’t make any sense. So I think it’s a very irresponsible thing to say given that our kids go to the same school and things like that.”

Thomas then complimented the reality star.

He said: “I’m proud of her, I’m proud of her family, I saw Kris. We were all talking, when I last saw Kris we were cool.”

In an episode of his reality show keeping up with the Kardashians which aired in 2018, Kim told her sister Kendall Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian’s ex-sister Scott Disick: “I got married on ecstasy – the first time. I took ‘ecstasy once, I got married, I did it again, I made a sex tape.’

Kim Kardashian rose to fame after a sex tape she made with RnB star Ray J was made public.

She married basketball player Kris Humphries in 2011 and filed for divorce 72 days later.

In 2014, she married musician and fashion designer Kanye West, whom she had dated for two years. They have four children together and separated in 2021.
