Sam Thompson breaks silence and admits he was furious during 'explosive' argument with Zara McDermott

Sam Thompson has spoken out for the first time after he was caught on camera in an “explosive” exchange with girlfriend Zara McDermott.

The former Love Island star and I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Winner Sam, 31, appeared to be locked in a heated argument in the street on Sunday, after representing England at Soccer Aid. Zara could then be seen looking animated as she waved her finger at her man after the boozy afterparty.

The couple appeared unhappy as they waited for their taxi to arrive after saying their goodbyes. Sam decided to address the snaps during a chat with BFF Pete Wicks on their Staying Relevant podcast where he was joined by the 27-year-old, who also had plenty to say about the tense photos with her boyfriend.

He said: “I think it’s time to eliminate the elephant in the room. It’s huge. We need to squash these rumors now before they start. There was an article about the after- Soccer Aid party in which photos were taken of me and my girlfriend Zara had what really looked like – and I almost feel like we did it when I know it didn’t. is not the case.

Before rumors of a split or trouble in paradise began to surface, Zara set the record straight regarding the “argument” and revealed what she was actually saying to her longtime partner. Taking to social media on Monday, the reality star shared one of her photos and made a statement to her fans.
