How to Stop Spam Messages on iPhone

Spam messages are not only annoying, but they can also lead to sneaky online scams if you’re not careful enough. Whenever the topic of spam messages comes up, the only question one asks is how to stop them. Well, in this guide we are going to show you the ways you can use to stop spam messages or at least not encounter them on your iPhone. Let’s take a look below.

Method 1: Stop Spam Messages by Enabling Unknown Sender Filter

In iOS, you can enable Filter Unknown Senders, which will sort messages from people who aren’t in your contacts to a different list. This ensures that you won’t accidentally open a spam message when you’re scrolling through your other texts. Here’s how to enable this feature.

  1. Open Settings application and navigate to messages.
  2. Select Unknown and spam under “Message filtering”.
  3. There, turn it on Filter unknown senders to fall over.
