Find lost Android phone in silent mode

The prerequisite for locating your Android phone is that you have enabled Find My Device on your Android phone, which should be enabled by default if you are logged in to your Google account on the phone.

Step 1: Access Google Device Manager by visiting android.com/devicemanager on your phone or laptop/computer through a browser like Chrome or any other.

2nd step: You should see all your devices listed on the website. Tap on the lost Android phone.

Step 3: Tap Play sound.

This is how you can find a lost Android phone that is not in ring mode.

Find a lost iPhone in silent mode

If you are an iPhone user, you can use another Apple device to find your lost iPhone. Whether it’s an iPhone, iPad or Mac, you can easily find your lost phone that is set to silent mode. Those who don’t own any other Apple devices can still track their iPhone through the browser. Follow the steps below.

The prerequisite is that you have enabled Find My iPhone on your iPhone. You can do this by going to Settings > Apple Account > Find My > enable all settings, including Find My Network and Send Last Location for better tracking.

Step 1: Open the Find My app on your iPhone or other Apple devices. Or go to iCloud.com and select Find My iPhone.

2nd step: Tap Devices.

Step 3: You should now see all available devices. Tap on the lost iPhone.

Step 4: Now tap on Play Sound. Once you tap Play Sound, a recurring sound will play on your iPhone even if it is on mute or vibrate mode.

This is how you can easily locate your lost iPhone even if it is not in ring mode.

Apart from this, you can even reset your Android phone remotely using the Find My Device feature. On iPhone, you can let a dead iPhone send its last location. You can follow the steps above to do both things, as they are in the same settings in Find My Device/Find My.
