Shirtless man caught on camera damaging equipment at Cumberland County business

MIDDLESEX TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHTM) – Police in Cumberland County are searching for a man who was caught on camera destroying equipment outside of a local business.

Middlesex Township police said that on June 13, cameras captured a man breaking equipment outside the former Hickory Ridge Restaurant on Harrisburg Pike.

Police called the man, who at one point appeared to take off his tank top, a “microwave potato masher.”

The restaurant announced in February that it would close due to the end of its lease and the sale of the property. They continue to operate at a location in Chambersburg.

Anyone who can help police identify the man is asked to call 717-249-7191.
