Lindsey Graham Ripped for 'Handsome' Election Night Messages to 'Democratic Friends'

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) received angry responses from both sides of the aisle over a message he sent “to my Democratic friends” late on election night.

“Take a deep breath,” the Donald Trump acolyte wrote on Tuesday, as the results came in and GOP nominee Trump’s victory looked likely.

“The sun will rise. The world will change and despite what Oprah says, we will have another election,” Graham added, then urged his Republican allies to “get ready to govern and change the country.”

In another message, Graham told his “Democratic colleagues” that he had “been there.”
