Boulder Office of Arts and Culture offers art tours – Boulder Daily Camera

Starting June 22, the Boulder Office of Arts and Culture is offering free walking tours of public art in downtown Boulder.

According to a press release, each tour will last an hour and a half and feature approximately 30 stops showcasing an array of sculptures, murals and urban design projects.

“We are excited to showcase pieces from our city’s public art collection with the community,” said Arts and Culture Director Lauren Click. “These unique and colorful works of art, from iconic bronze sculptures to colorful alleyway murals, help tell the story of our city.”

Participants will begin the tour at the corner of 17th Avenue and Pearl Street and end at 13th and Arapahoe Avenues.

During their tour, community members can view artwork installed as early as 1977 and as recently as 2024, according to the release.

Guided tours will be offered most Saturdays at 11 a.m. starting June 22 and most Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. starting June 26. According to the press release, the visits will take place until August 31.
