The partnership is the first large-scale set of systems and services for the Power-to-X sector for Volue Energy Market Services. Volue Energy Market Services works with clients in the renewable energy sector to outsource production planning and optimization, trading and associated operational processes.

Volue will now provide simulation and control room services to the leading Nordic developer of green hydrogen and e-methane in Finland. Ren-Gas was founded in July 2021 with the aim of creating a decentralized portfolio of e-methane production plants in Finland. By early 2024, Ren-Gas has six plants in its portfolio, with construction of the first plant in Tampere, Finland expected to start in 2024 and e-methane production in 2027.

The agreement includes an energy management system (EMS) delivered as software as a service (SaaS), SCADA connections, information exchange and simulation of utility market service functionality. electricity. The objective is to simulate Ren-Gas’ future power purchase and reserve market operations in a simulated, risk-free environment.
