“NEET (UG) – 2024 has been the subject of continuous controversy since the day it was conducted. The NTA has announced that it will conduct NEET (UG) – 2024 for 1,563 candidates, but we demand that only re-examination of 1,563 candidates be passed The National Testing Agency should conduct re-examination for all 24 lakh candidates in a fresh and fair manner,” said one of the protesting students.

The NTA has announced that the exams for NEET (UG)-2024 will be held on June 23, 2024 for 1,563 candidates who suffered loss of time in the exam originally scheduled on May 5.

The May 5 exam, conducted by the NTA across 4,750 centers for nearly 24 lakh students, was put in the dock due to allegations of paper leaks and questionable pardons. An unprecedented 67 students scored a perfect 720, adding to concerns.

Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and Congress leader Digvijay Singh on Friday demanded a probe into alleged irregularities in the NEET-Undergraduate exams and said the entire exam should be canceled.

Regarding ‘X’, Singh wrote: “My request is that the entire examination be canceled and held as soon as possible and a completely impartial investigation be conducted into this matter under the new law adopted by Parliament and Parliament. the guilty should receive the harshest punishment. »

Earlier, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Friday launched a fierce attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led central government, saying that whether the BJP is in power at the Center or in the State, paper leaks are “inevitable”. .

“Whether the BJP is in power at the center or in the state, paper leaks are inevitable. NEET paper leak is a very serious matter. The accused in custody admits that the paper was leaked.

Candidates, parents, students and young people, all worried. The whole system is suspect, but the NDA government is so immersed in arrogance that it completely ignores the credibility of the examinations carried out in the country and even after the evidence of the paper leak was made public, Investigations and arrests were made, and the conspirators “I have confessed to the crime of #NEET,” Yadav said in a post on ‘X’.
