Rpsc: RPSC introduces changes in exam application forms to prevent cheating | Ajmer News

Ajmer: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has decided to implement new measures to tackle the problem of fake candidates appearing in place of genuine candidates in various selection exams. After a significant number of such cases were reported, the RPSC announced on Friday that it would require applicants to include their last photo with the date in their online application forms. Additionally, candidates will now be required to upload a scanned copy of their thumbprint, similar to the procedure followed by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Another new requirement is that candidates must upload their experience certificate, if requested, along with their primary application to demonstrate their eligibility for a particular exam. The move follows incidents involving paper leaks and the arrest of many fake candidates attempting to appear in various exams in the name of real candidates. The RPSC aims to close any potential gaps in the exam application process and has issued a directive making these new requirements mandatory for the next selection exam. “Over the last six months, several cases have been identified where the photo and documents of the original candidates were transformed, allowing a fake candidate to appear in the exam,” explained an official source. Changes to the application system aim to prevent such cheating and the emergence of fake candidates. Regarding the photo requirement, until now, candidates could upload any photo on the application form. line, which was likely to be edited to confuse between the real photo and the real photo candidates “Candidates must now upload their latest photo bearing the date and carry the same photo with them during the exam as well as when. they are called for counselling,” said Ramniwas Mehta, secretary of the RPSC. The photograph, complete with the date, must be affixed on the application file and is required at the time of examination as well as during counseling and interviews.
