Shocking video shows tractor spinning out of control during race in Phagwara, Punjab; Several injured

In a shocking incident, a tractor race in Domeli village, Phagwara in Punjab left several people seriously injured. A video of the incident went viral on social media, with several people expressing their apprehensions over such races in villages.

The accident occurred during a tractor race when one of the vehicles lost control and crashed into spectators, triggering chaos and panic. The incident reportedly left many people seriously injured, with five to 10 people hospitalized. Police reportedly seized three tractors and arrested four people in connection with the incident.

Gurpreet Singh, one of the victims, reportedly explained how the tractor went out of control and hit him and several other people. Ratan Singh, another victim, described how the runaway tractor injured him and his friend as it rushed towards them.

The local administration is under scrutiny following the tragic incident, with people questioning how permission to take part in the race was granted when such events are banned. Additionally, people expressed concern because the race took place in broad daylight and local authorities failed to stop it.
