NFIB Minnesota PAC announces first round of legislative approvals

Candidates have a proven track record fighting for Minnesota’s small businesses and deserve re-election

The state’s leading small business political action committee today announced its first round of endorsements for candidates for the Minnesota House of Representatives. All 134 seats in the Minnesota House are up for election this year.

Minnesota small businesses continue to face economic and regulatory hurdles. Higher taxes, more mandates, persistent inflation and a chronic labor shortage have made it harder for small businesses to keep up. Now more than ever, Main Street needs strong advocates in the Legislature.

“These legislators have proven themselves to be strong advocates for small businesses. They are ready to fight for our members’ rights to own, operate and grow their businesses,” said John Reynolds, NFIB Minnesota Director. “And they are committed to making our state a better place to raise a family and do business.” »

State legislative approvals are determined by the NFIB MN PAC Board of Directors, made up of Minnesota small business owners. Legislative approvals in place are based on the NFIB MN 2023-24 voting record, which reflects how a lawmaker voted on issues of priority to small business owners. Lawmakers must have a score of 70 percent or better to be approved.

The NFIB represents more than 10,000 small businesses in Minnesota. Endorsing the NFIB MN PAC is an important signal to voters across the state that a candidate will stand with small businesses. The endorsements announced today are listed below.
