Garth Brooks is releasing something new next month

Garth Brooks is gearing up to release the next episode of his The anthology series, The Anthology Part IV: Going Home.

The new hardcover book will document the years Brooks, 62, spent in Oklahoma with his three daughters — Taylor, 32, August 30, and Allie, 28 — after announcing his retirement from touring in 2000. In 2014, he returned to the road when he launched a headlining tour with his wife Trisha Jaarwood.

“Those fourteen years of my life are the years I will always remember. It was life at its best. I learned to be a father, my girls learned to know me, and I wouldn’t regret for a second giving up a career to find all that,” says the country singer, who shares his children with his ex-wife. Sandy Mahlsaid in a statement shared via his website.

The Anthology, Part IV includes stories from Brooks, his friends and Yearwood, 60, whom he married in 2005. The new release also includes six music discs of songs from The lost sessions And Blame it all on My Roots: five decades of influences.

Brooks’ website shows every part of him Anthology series features “never-before-seen photographs,” anecdotes from Brooks’ bandmates, collaborators, family and friends, and “multiple discs” of music,” including “unreleased material, live performances (and) demo versions.” The result is what Brooks calls “liner notes on steroids.”

The latest installment of Brooks’ Anthology series, out December 6, comes after the musician was charged with assault and battery in October. A woman identified as “Jane Roe,” who said she worked as Brooks’ hairstylist and makeup artist, accused Brooks of raping her during a 2019 work trip.

Roe also alleged that Brooks repeatedly exposed his genitals and buttocks to her, discussed his sexual fantasies in front of her, sent her sexually explicit text messages and made “repeated comments” about “having a threesome” with Yearwood.

Before the lawsuit, Brooks filed an anonymous complaint in an attempt to stop Roe from repeating her allegations and vehemently denied her claims.

“Defendant’s allegations are untrue,” Brooks alleged in the filing. “Defendant is, however, well aware of the substantial, irreparable harm that such false allegations would cause to Plaintiff’s well-deserved reputation as a decent and caring person, together with the inevitable damage to his family and the irreparable damage to his career and livelihood that would result if she made good on her threat to ‘publicly file’ her fabricated lawsuit.”

Roe’s attorneys called Brooks’ “attempts to silence their client” “nothing but an act of desperation and attempted intimidation” in a statement shared with We weekly.

Brooks later filed a separate complaint, alleging that hevictim of a shakedownand accused Roe of “planning to blackmail” him for “millions of dollars.” He claimed that his accuser originally “threatened” to “publicly file” her “trumped up allegations” in a July 17 letter unless he agreed to pay her.

Brooks mentioned Roe by name in the filing. The legal team for the plaintiff responded in a statement Unpleasant Us at the time.

Amid the controversy, Yearwood has done just that stood by her husband. She shared an X-ray last month of her singing with Brooks on stage during his ongoing residency with the caption, “Love One Another.”

“Trisha fully believes Garth and has complete confidence that the allegations are false,” a source said exclusively Us last month. ‘She is supports him 100 percent.”

A second insider added that Brooks is “trying to move forward and stay positive” as all he “cares about is his family and his fans.”
