Marine Corps Logistics Base Albany Announces Cancellation of This Year's Independence Day Celebration

ALBANY, Ga. (WALB) – Marine Corps Logistics Base (MCLB) Albany announced it will not hold its annual Independence Day celebration this year.

In a Facebook post, MCLB said funding constraints were the reason the annual celebration was canceled.

“Please enjoy local celebrations in your area with your family, friends, neighbors and fellow patriots. Semper Fidelis,” the message reads.
