3 people charged with selling stolen identities after traffic stop in Morgan County

PRICEVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — Officers with the Priceville Police Department (PPD) said a traffic stop led to the arrest of three people for selling stolen identities on Thursday, June 13.

According to the department, officers stopped a vehicle along northbound I-65 near the river bridge for a minor traffic violation around 11:45 p.m.

PPD tells News 19 that Chrison Charale Johnson, 33, of Fort Mill, South Carolina, Ethan, Michael Kreider, 19, of Noblesville, Indiana, and Rashia Elijahna-Syara Beasley, 22, of Warren, Michigan, were all arrested.

Johnson, Kreider and Beasley were all charged with:

  • trafficking in stolen identities,
  • trafficking in false identity documents,
  • criminal possession of a counterfeit device,
  • 2nd degree possession of a counterfeit instrument
  • 3rd degree possession of a counterfeit instrument

According to PPD, Kreider and Beasley are both being held on $185,000 bail. Johnson’s bonds were set at $235,000 because he was previously out on bond on similar charges.
