Tanya Owens hides in woman’s living room before punching her in the face – Scoop: Nashville

Tanya Owens, 46, was involved in a domestic altercation with Perrisha Moore at her apartment on June 1. Moore told law enforcement she heard noises coming from downstairs, so she went there because she thought it was her cat. When she came downstairs, she found Owens hiding in the living room. Owens then punched Moore in the face and grabbed her by the back of her neck. Moore walked away from Owens and crossed the street to help her cousin. When they returned to his apartment, Owens was no longer there. Through further investigation into the incident, officers found threatening text messages from Owens to Moore the day before. Tanya Owen was taken into custody and charged with domestic violence on June 12.

Tanya R. Owens was arraigned June 12 on a charge of domestic battery with bodily injury.
