University of the Arts students urged to consider dollars

During a virtual information session, students and parents can learn about the arts disciplines available at the college.

NEWTOWN, PA — A virtual information session will be hosted by Bucks County Community College for first- and second-year University of the Arts (UArts) students to showcase various educational pathways on Tuesday, June 25 at 6 p.m.

Students and parents are invited to learn more about the artistic disciplines available at Bucks, which has a long and deep artistic heritage. Representatives from Admissions, Transfer, and Financial Aid Services will be available to answer questions, including how to bring financial aid with you to Bucks.

Bucks County is a well-established and vibrant arts center, both regionally and nationally, and Bucks County Community College is a leading provider of collegiate arts education. The college is one of the few community colleges in the country accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD) and the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM).

“Whether you are a newly admitted UArts student or a currently enrolled UArts student, Bucks County Community College is ready to help you through this difficult time,” a college spokesperson said. “If you enroll in one of our associate degree programs, you will be able to move on to a bachelor’s degree program after you have had time to further develop your plans.”

*The Bucks County Community College School of Music is an all-Steinway school.
