F1 driver Carlos Sainz reveals teams without confirmed driver lineups for next season offered him contract

New Delhi, June 18 : Carlos Sainz is perhaps one of the most watched drivers on the grid currently, as the talented Spanish Ferrari driver is looking for his next Formula 1 team. The former McLaren driver is currently on his final season as Scuderia driver as he will be replaced by Lewis Hamilton in the 2025 season. After weeks of speculation, Sainz has now confirmed that he has an offer from every team that does not have a crew confirmed for the upcoming season. “There isn’t (an option). There are several, I won’t lie to you. All the teams that haven’t signed their two drivers for next year, I’m on their list. They offered me a contract and I could sign with them tomorrow. But I will not sign tomorrow, I will be calm and I will make a decision soon,” the Ferrari driver told the Spanish TV show “El Hormiguero”. Currently, only Red Bull and Ferrari have a confirmed team for next season, but Mercedes are reportedly courting 17-year-old sensation Kimi Antonelli.

According to recent reports, Williams and Sauber are currently leading the race to sign one of the hottest products in motorsport. Sainz also added: “he will make the decision very soon.” “I have my options on the table, ready to make a decision. And I will make the decision very soon because I want to put this aside and focus on what is left of this year with Ferrari,” added the three-time Grand Prix winner.
