DUDLEY — A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of a Dudley man early Tuesday morning after police discovered a large amount of suspected drugs and cash in his vehicle.

At approximately 1:40 a.m., Officer James Mastrogiovanni of the Dudley Police Department stopped a vehicle on Schofield Avenue.

The driver, identified as Heriberto Rodriquez, 30, was driving with a suspended driver’s license in Massachusetts.

Upon further investigation, officers discovered a significant quantity of suspected Adderall and Ecstasy pills, as well as $2,265 in U.S. currency.

Rodriquez was taken into custody and faces several charges, including operating after license suspension, trafficking in a Class B substance (Adderall) weighing 100 grams or more, and possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance (Adderall) B (Adderall and Ecstasy), all subsequent offenses.
