Marseille submit bid for Farense’s Mohamed Bachir Belloumi

Olympique de Marseille may not have formalized the arrival of coach Roberto De Zerbi, but he is already taking action from the transfer window. According to a report from Mercato on foot, an offer has been made for Mohamed Bachi Belloumi (22) from Farense.

OM is working on two deals. The first is to recruit Lilian Brassier (24) from Stade Brestois, one of the architects of the Breton club’s surprise qualification for the UEFA Champions League. The Team understands that the French central defender has already agreed to terms with The Phoceans and discussions between the two clubs regarding transfer fees are ongoing.

Meanwhile, Marseille are working on a deal to sign Algerian junior international Bachir Belloumi, who currently plays for Portuguese club Farense. Last season he scored seven goals and registered four assists in the Portuguese top flight, attracting interest from Benfica.

But he was rather seduced by the Marseille project. Pablo Longoria and Mehdi Benatia are looking for a left-footed winger and may have found their man. An offer has now been made and OM will impatiently await Farense’s response.
